Monday 3rd December – Lagos (but we’ve moved)

This morning we went to ask the marina if we could have a berth nearer to the facilities as we have a friend from UK visiting next week and thought he may appreciate a shorter hike to the showers – as we have been planning to depart we have stayed on the visitors moorings which are further away from the facilities.  As they had one available immediately, we decided it would be a good idea to move straight away.

Today, as was yesterday, was a bikini day (ok – not for Richard) with the sun shining and the weather warm, so we donned our shorts for the short motor across the marina.

Once installed on our new berth, we relaxed with a visit to the hotel for a bit of internet and then bumped into Peter and Carola at one of the cafés (and had coffee - yes, occasionally we drink something other than alcohol) on our way to recover our bikes from the other pontoon and visit the supermarket.

This evening we did the prawn and baguette routine with a few glasses of white and a finale of red (so, not coffee then, I hear you say) – the weather was so mild that we ate on deck in the cockpit enclosure.
