Wednesday 14^th July – Kiparissia, Peloponnese

Well, we enjoyed our outing yesterday so much we did it again today.  We cycled along the coast the other way and looked at the beaches to the west; the first few are a bit more touristy with showers and tavernas but then they become more empty.  We preferred the one from yesterday so we cycled back and installed ourselves in the same place for a couple of hours.

We came back at lunchtime and, as we eating lunch, the fishing boat arrived back.  Nikos the fisherman asked me for a plastic bag – this was so that he could fill it with fish for me!  I took him and his crew a cold beer as a thank-you, which they despatched gratefully, having been out all night rocking around in the swell.

Three boats have arrived this evening to replace the two that left today.
