Day 4 - from The Wide Sargasso Sea
The previously absent crew member reporting.  As you know, it was farewell to Puerto Rico after a last goodbye to beautiful Old San Juan.  A safety and RULES** briefing from Skip and off we go.  a frisky first day saw us all trying to settle in and find our sealegs whilst I lost my stomach  for a day or two (well I needed to) but now hopefully on song.  The 3 hours on 6 off watch system is good as is the  "Mother Watch" system of catering.  we keep hoping for a fish supper, but since catch to date has been Sargasso weed, a Plan B is always advisable
** A propos of RULES, we are still waiting for the penalty lashing system to be advised, the more so since Skip was noticed not adhering to same this morning.
There has been fun and excitement along the way thus far;  Manuela and Ian are a delightful addition to the crew and are proving invaluable.  Watch this space!
As of this morning we have passed the half way mark to Bermuda and Skip and No. 2 have gone below for a celebratory kip whilst we girlies scrub the deck (another potential lashing faces us as we inadvertently doused the skipper mid-kip).
A few pics:

Written by Lynn (obviously) but being sent by the skipper as it is too rough to add to this email. We are hard on the wind,25kts+ in a very rough sea but are now about to pass the two thirds of the way to Bermuda point.
