It's the galley slave here,

While Skipper and Gary are at the final briefing, worked continued to ensure that Skipper can continue to eat to the standard to which he has become accustomed.  The meat order arrived this morning - vacuum packed and frozen and now fills the ice box.

The vegetable order was more complicated as the recommended supplier seems to want to over supply at our expense.  I eventually managed to track him down, returned to extra goods, and reduced the bill by nearly a third.  However he then gave us all the mis-ordered food - so now we have a little challenge to sort out this extra food:
However, our neighbours in Mr X then had a similar (bigger) problem and passed on some of the surplus food they couldn't cope with (thanks Manuela):

So we are now carrying a lot more fresh food than we expected and our landlady at the AirBnB where Sandra & I are staying for the last 2 nights will have a surprise when she wakes from her siesta:

So the boat is as ready as it will ever be, the dinners for the next 4 days prepared:

And of course a good meal needs something to wash it down so I'm ready to brew some ginger beer - just need to dilute the concentrate in the Grolsch bottles and add a pinch of yeast!!  …. once there’s some space in the fridge.

That's the news from down here in the galley - I wonder what it's like up on deck.
