Shmulik shows his culinary skills in the galley of the Passepartout. I think I've explained in previous posts that we ate extremely well while making the long passage from Cape Verde to St Lucia. The only snag was that we seemed to catch only one species of fish - Mahi-Mahi (also known as Dorada). Finding some new way to prepare Mahi-Mahi every day was very taxing and a source of much frustration for Shmulik who was also in charge of the fishing. Two days before landfall we hooked a huge Barracuda which gave us a spectacular display of how game fish can get airborne. But with his third jump he gave a vicious flick and took half of line and the lure with him to the depths.
