Today we are finally leaving Rio.  We say that with a hint of sadness as it has been a magic time in this crazy city.  Recommend this town to anyone who is thinking off passing by this way.  As with every port we have met some great people and the Brazilians are as ever so helpful.  The repairs/replacement to the forestay and furler have gone well and now the old tub is back to fighting strength.  This is at a cost but now we have submitted the receipts to the insurers we shall see how nice, or not, they will be.  Yeah, right.. ;)

Now the plan is to sail west again to Ilha Grande for a week and then… well… south and south again.
