When the wee bonny boat (please note: this is not a typo, but Scottish for small but perfectly formed vessel) sped across the sea to Skye, this is what the the crew might have seen. Except if it was a trailer-sailer, crossing by the Skye Bridge. Anyway, we have now left Skye and made our way to Oban, ready for the next phase of our voyage. We paused overnight in an anchorage in Kilchoan Bay, and then today sailed the length of the Sound of Mull to arrive here in the lee of Kerrera Island.

Coming south from Skye we passed between the islands of Canna and Rum, where we saw another Minke whale gliding along. These are quite big animals, yet very graceful in thier natural environment.

The question now is - where next???
