Our next stop in France was Morgat, a little town famous for it's huge caves, some reaching the size of a cathedral. We explored them on our dinghy and saw some amazing sights! The water was crystal clear and one of the caves had different coloured stripes all over the walls!
Our blow up sailing dinghy was used on the little bay of Morgat, even though there wasn't much wind. It was great fun, but we were quickly over taken by the larger sailing dinghy's!

After staying 2 nights in Morgat, we sailed to the Iles de Glenan and stayed a night there. However it was much to rocky and our night wasn't very peaceful, so we motored to the River Odet in the morning. We anchored up the river and spent a very calm 2 days there! On the second day in the River Odet, Kerry, Mum and I went up to town of Quimpers by dinghy. we visited a pottery museum, a biscuit museum and a history museum! The history museum was my favorite because it displayed lots of traditional French outfits from long ago! We also visited the market, a very grand bakery (that displayed a detailed chocolate statue of the Quimpers cathedral!) and saw a miniature horse and donkey!

But our time in France had to come to an end and we left for Spain in the afternoon of Sunday 11th of August. The trip took us 2 days and 2 nights and even though I didn't really enjoy the bumpy night is was good fun! Mum and Dad took turns watching the boat at night and Kerry and I joined them by day. During those 2 days, we saw at least 5 pods of dolphins and a small brown ray! It was incredible, because they kept jumping in fron of the boat and in the air!

Spain is very exciting and different, because dinner is usally at 9-10 0'clock! The language is very different to French, but I can't wait to get exploring there!
¡Adiós!
