"I'm just going down below to get some shut eye," said Dan.
" I bet we see a whale whilst your asleep" I said, fifteen minutes later whilst sailing along on a beam reach at 7 knots under bright blue skies with Lanzarote in the distance I spotted my first ever sighting of a pilot whale which was cruising lazily along some 50 m away from Phoebe B. This sighting was confirmed by Tony and Sue.
Sue is mother today and was planning what  to cook yesterday. We have already had fresh baked cheese scones with coffee at 11. Lunch consisted of Calzone pizza and salad. This evenings meal is to be Chicken wrapped in ham with ginger chilli and garlic, new potatoes and green vegetables (whatever can be salvaged from the fridge).
We hope to arrive in Rubicon (Lanzarote) this evening in time to wash all this fine food down with a cool beer from the nearest bar.
