Flogging ! 22/11 0615

After a relaxed day and some great downwind sailing with the pole a moments loss of concentration by me at 8pm last night trying to see if another flying fish had landed in the cockpit . The result was a big flog of the main after running too deep and a biggish tear in the leech of the main about 3/4 way up. :(. So been sailing on the jib all night still going in the right direction but not great.
Nice job for this morning to drop the main and stitch it up as best we can using some webbing and repair tape.
Otherwise we were all catching up on sleep and washing nicely !
Beware of flogs to kit - of course I win numpty of the day (possibly trip) award....
