Tramping along in quite a large swell today. Mostly
sunny but the odd spot of rain with the wind occasionally up to 30knots. Great
excitement today as whales were spotted closeby . This morning a large whale,
possibly a sperm whale was spotted briefly cruising along beside us no more
than a boats length away and this afternoon one or more smaller whales with
dolpin like fins made a few passes by the boat, spouting occasionally.
Unfortunately cameras could not be brought to bear soon enough.
