Day 6.
Another lovely day of sailing. Overcast but still warm as we bowl along with a musical accompaniment.
As chief cook and bottle washer, a role for which I have rather more qualification, than deck hand I am enjoying the voyage so far. There have been 3 or 4 sightings of whales, the occasional dolphin around the boat and shearwaters gliding low over the water.
We've managed to have salad every day for lunch so far. I'm currently devising as many versions of coleslaw as possible. Today's version of avocado, orange and tuna worked very well. Having studied Emily's technique of cooking at whatever angle we are leaning I've managed to get food into bowls for every meal. To be fair the sea has not been too rough so there could still some testing times ahead. We are still well stocked so can keep going for a while although Peter's request for banana custard has been turned down as we've eaten all the bananas.
