In the little marina at Velas.
Very full, but we contacted them in advance and they squeezed us in. Jose in the marina office is charming and really helpful.
It took a few extra minutes to get here because as noted in the RCC guide, the bottom at Cais da Pico is stony and a trip line is recommended. Yes, we followed the advice and yes, the anchor got stuck, but easily sorted.
Today we are going to hire a car and explore the island, so more about that soon.
