Long gap in updates.  We left Tortola and sailed to Bahia Mar Marina in Ft Lauderdale in seven days.  Winds were very light forcing us to use the nearly all the fuel motoring.  We took the route along the Old Bahamian Channel, just north of Haiti and Cuba, to avoid the shallows of the Bahamas.  PYD supplied two crew members who were great help the entire time.

North of Haiti we were stopped a couple of times by the US Coast Guard who patrols the area to limit drug smuggling.  Not a big deal and they were very professional and respectful of the boat.

When we entered US territorial waters (3 miles out)  we were boarded by Customs and Border Patrol who were less courteous, stopping all over the boat in heavy combat boots.

Anyway were berthed in Bahia Mar without any issue and I went to Immigration to get all the passports stamped.  No problems encountered there.
