We had some interesting nights in our last few days in Marigot, as the swell and wind built up. Our particular spot in the bay, just under 3m deep, became a small reef, and on one particular night, the spot where the swell started to break!

So we upped the anchor in the middle of the night and motored a few hundred yards to beyond the new surf line, for a (relatively) peaceful end to our stay.

On 20th April, we and Win2Win decided on a gentle overnight downwind passage to Tortola, and very pleasant it was too. Calm seas, light to moderate winds....found us entering the BVI territorial waters at around dawn, and anchored off Road Town by 10.

The Customs and Immigration process here took some time, but after a couple of hours, we parted company temporarily.

Persephones batteries need a couple of nights on shore power, and her crew decided to make a rendezvous with Steve and Jody on EnaVigo, in Nanny Cay marina.

Thats been fun, helping Steve with the installation of a new chart plotter....that's all head scratching and chasing mysterious wires around the boat before calling in the guys from Raymarine.

Last night, we had a lovely meal together at Sea Cow Bay, and a few rums on board the exceptionally well stocked Ena Vigo.

Today, we are off to Norman Island, the Caves and the famous Willy T's floating bar....

And hopefully, meet up again with Eltjo and Lilian.
