We gybed at midday today. That was a good call and this afternoon we have been barrelling along at up to 8 knots, straight down the line to Barbados, which is now a mere 1570 miles away.

The afternoon will also be remembered as dolphin day. We have had a number of visits from different groups, some real show - offs, jumping out of the faces of waves.

The wavetrain is now definitely behind us too, which has reduced the rolling somewhat. Even though we have essentially light winds, there's clearly been some weather to the north, which is delivering a long, low oceanic swell, which we are riding up and down. The dolphins like it.

On the catering front, we start an assault on some of our tinned goodies tonight. Chicken in a white wine sauce, and Karen is roasting some sweet potatoes to accompany the chicken as I write. Oh, and fresh carrots!  No scurvy yet.

There have been another dozen or so raindrops too this afternoon. Otherwise sun, sun, sun all the way!  25 degrees in the shade.

All good here.
