The predicted shift of the wind to the north didn't come, which goes to show that electronic weather data can only be considered accurate for 2 or 3 days. So we have continued down the rhumb line, in reducing wind, but consistently from the south, making the passage very comfortable.

Our daily run for the 3rd day as 161 miles but since the end of that 24 hour period, i.e. 1030am this morning, we have progressively slowed down.

The swells out here are impressive, but they are swell, as opposed to waves. Persephone rides up and down as if on a merry-go-round, and it seems we have more wind at the top of the swell than we do at the bottom.

The weather has turned from sunny to grey this evening.

Our position at 2015UT is

43 36.465N  19 21.768W
All well.

One of Karens pizzas for supper.
