Just before Easter, Nigel received a telephone call...interesting in itself, since more often than not, his phone is dead and needs recharging.  The call was from Andrew Gordon, owner of Sigma 38 "Pandanova" aka "Panda", who was travelling out with the family, Anna, Atalanta and Alexander (letters to A. Gordon must stimulate some familial interraction!) to the BVI's for a couple of weeks warm weather sailing. "Would it be possible to meet up" Nigel replied "it would be rude not to" and so it transpired.

The rendezvous eventually took place on Peter Island, in Great Bay.  Lots of Sigma catching up, news first hand of the incident and Annas broken  wrist incurred at the annual Sigma Prizegiving dinner. Also great wonder at the inate proficiency of the little Gordons in the water, snorkelling et al...

And so it can be claimed, this Easter at least, there are indeed Pandas in the BVI's
