ACTIVITIES:
Apologies followers - we had a very bumpy day yesterday and last night. We were unable to type anything on a keyboard due to the fact that we were being thrown around the boat. The wind speed picked up to 38 knots approaching a front and the sea state was very confused. Swells from the South East and waves from the South West.

The ride was so bumpy that the table in the saloon dislodged from the floor and almost fell over. This table is actually part of the boat! We are having a much easier time of it now. speeding along at 8 knots with the wind on the forequarter. Jan caught a fish!
A beautiful Dorado. He offered it some gin, but it up and died on us before it could join the party.

The boat is in good order. Julian wet the bed last night (his hatch has a small leak) due to the water coming over the top of his cabin at times. The Genneker, which was kept in its bag almost washed overboard, so was dragged into the cockpit for safety.

Other than the table, the boat is in good order and the sails doing well. We are eating well, especially Julian, who eats as much as the rest of the crew put together. The crew eat 2 meals a day with a few snacks in between and Julian eats 7 meals a day with a few snacks in between. He has almost exhausted our supply of Frosties cereal!
