ACTIVITIES:
Well, since our last position report, things have changed a little. The wind gods went AWOL last night. Zero wind. Julian and Rean went outside and sat on the trampoline and watched the phosphorescence coming off the bow of the boat, it was a great display of green little stars bouncing off the front of the boat.
The fog started rolling in and the water was eerily calm, not a swell or ripple on the water, we could have been sitting on a jetty next to a pond somewhere.

Early this morning the wind came back a little, but from the direction we wanted to go in. We decided that the area of low pressure was too large to motor through with the diesel we have left and so have changed course to almost south to use the wind to get us going somewhere at least! The waves are a little bigger now that the wind is blowing a bit and the motion on the ocean is slightly more bumpy than before, but still quite sedate and relaxing.

Jan has his Indian music playing in the background and I feel as if we are in a Hindu temple somewhere in Deli. Ed has finally come out to play and is behaving more like a human being now, but is walking around with his laptop for company and is continuously typing and gloating at what he has just done.

We have downloaded several weather files and have come to the conclusion that this trip is going to take a little longer than expected. The wind is not cooperating and will be this way for a few days to come. We are all hoping to get to the Caribbean before Easter (We are in the grib zone of doom at the moment).

The sun is shining and the temperature is pleasant. Moral is high and we are working our way through the beers at a feverish pace. At night the sky is full of stars and we appreciate what nature has given us to look at.
