ACTIVITIES:

Greeting Followers,

We hope this finds you all in good health.

Apologies for the lack of blog earlier today, we appear to be getting used to the way of the waves.

Rean was awoken in the night and investigated a retched smell, having looked around the galley and the refuse area the source was finally located in the forward starboard cabin, Julian (the writer) was asleep but his internals were working overtime to process the excessive chilly based sauce which accompanied our evening meal of cheese and jambon pasties and chips.

We are all pleased to report that Ed seems to have found his sea legs, he's also getting into doing very little as well, this however has been no problem for JP who is sleeping more than being awake. I can also report that Rean is also catching the sleeping bug and is relaxed now he is this Utopian idle.

Jan and Rean have been debating for several hours about how to set about fixing an issue regarding how the engine charges the batteries, have been discussed and discussed then (Jan) set about the task/s and I am pleased to report (as their spokesman) that the problem is largely concluded to their respective satisfaction.

Rean made some porridge mid morning which we ate with brown sugar and it was tasty.

I did the sunrise watch this morning which was lovely, the days are getting warmer so no need for more than T-shirt and shorts. The only downside to the last 12 hours is that we have had no real wind so have been under motor, thankfully in the last one hour the wind has picked up and we have a couple of sails up and when I have concluded this bog I shall help Rean launch the kite.

Ed has spent some time on deck today getting some sea air and sunshine whilst reading his book (which looks quite hard going). He's now getting some kip (again)
