I have to admit I have fallen in love all over again. The lady concerned sadly is incapable of returning my affection. On the other hand I have no need to worry will she still respect me in the morning, nor do I have to telephone.

She wears a gleaming white top, a dentists delight, black is so last year, darling. She is a little fat, more Minnie Driver than Kate Moss perhaps, but she certainly has that star quality.

She is capable of accomodating ten men in some comfort with no need for jealousy, but for that number hot bunking would be mandatory.

We have motored through a wind hole where we were visited by a White Egret, two Turtles, and a Pod of Porpoises.

Last night the wind built steadily touching 20 knots at times, which is just as well since Jack is due home tomorrow. Being broad of beam my new love flies down wind, Ten Knots, hands off, on course.

P42 I LOVE YOU !

Sabrina won the cookery competition with a brilliant Pasta dish with Spinach and Ricotta Tortelloni and generous slices of Chorizo.

On leaving Gibraltar Jack saw a green flash. Ric suggested he needed to see a Doctor. But don't worry Mrs Woodford, your boy is all right,

I saw it too.

Ric has been busy asking RYA questions. " What would you expect to find in the life raft, Alastair ?"

" A bottle of Scotch ?"

"Is the wrong answer. But I strongly recommend you take the sea sickness tablets !"
