We had a great evening and night at Es Palmador, this lovely anchorage off a classic, palm fringed sandy beach, in a sheltered bay, has long been one of our favourites and it did not dissappoint. We arrived around 1800, just in time for a beer, g and t's a thing of the past now as we ran out of gin! Then a quick supper and checked the anchor was in and then supper, chess and bed. Peaceful night, awoke to warm sunshine, Arthur swam ashore and ran and strolled the deserted beach, we breakfasted and up anchored about 1000 and are now en route to Cartegena. Weather beautiful, no wind at present but promise of some Easterlies shortly, possibly up to force 7, easterlies would be good, force 7? we will cope. Expecting to make landfall tomorrow around 1000.
