Noon to Noon report on the 22nd March 12
We have managed to sail a full 24 hours, the wind has now picked up to 15 to 22 knots from the South East, which is giving us a great reaching sail. We are now sailing at our normal speed of 6 to 7 knots and in the direction we need to go. So heading South West to try to pick up the wind has worked.
The sea state is moderate, giving us a bit of a bumpy sail, but otherwise OK.
We have seen a few flying fish and a few seabirds.
None to report
Karacool set off with us, and is at present about 92 miles behind us.
Camelot set off on Tuesday and is now 305 miles behind us.
Marita 3 set off on Tuesday and is now 313 miles behind us.
Next report on the 23rd.
