Osprey will go into commission tomorrow having completed her refit at
Portland Yacht Services. She is now almost ready for the passage to
Bermuda and Antigua. Johnathan Walton will join us on Tuesday and we are
planning to leave around the 1st November. We have Bob Cook looking over
our shoulder as meteorologist and he will advise on the weather window and
best departure time. The weather from Portland to Bermuda is very tricky
at this time of the year as the speed of the low pressures crossing
continental USA are hard to predict and can produce some nasty seas and
winds which can make for a very uncomfertable crossing of the Gulf Stream.

Osprey is looking good and passing all test so far. Only major outstanding
is the water maker which we cannot test in harbour as the water is too
polluted.

Gareth and Sam were on board for the past two days having driven down from
Orimocto in Canada.
