Getting very close now, and lucky too, as we only have 12 cans of beer left!

Looking at an early afternoon arrival tomorrow, and we should be able to see St. Lucia from dawn tomorrow, so very exciting time on board.

It’s been a tough crossing for the strong winds and big seas we have encountered, but also a fast one. We should get in after a little over 17 days at sea, which is a very good time. When I did it last time it took us 21 days.

Making landfall is the best bit, and for Paul it is his first time in the Caribbean, so doubly exciting for him.

Mum is cooking today, so we’re all looking forwards to our last supper at sea, last sun-downer beers and hopefully a peaceful last nights sailing.

I’ll post some pictures of the passage once we are in and have some wifi.
