OOJAH's AWESOME ODYSSEY

It rained continually while we were in Dominica & we left with a very threatening wet cloudy sky overhead which did not augur well for the passage north to the Saints. However as we cleared land we left the rain behind & the jib alone proved to be just the right amount of sail. The Saintes are a very attractive group of small French islands just to the south of Guadeloupe. We got the last mooring buoy in the main anchorage but the swell was very uncomfortable so once checked in & provisioned we moved a mile to a small bay which was delightful though a little inaccessible to the very pretty main village Bourg. After taking a lay day we explored ashore & visited two of the other islands although nowhere was as nice as our original anchorage under the Pain de Sucre.

Love to all,

Peter & Christene
