Tuesday 23 Oct.
Still keeping up good progress, around 6Kn on 210. The wind had a good blow out at as the sun went down last night and has settled to around 12kN from the east this morning.

Good things about being in the middle of the ocean:
1. We haven't heard the word Brexit for at least a week.
David Camerons cabinet shoud have been locked in a padded cell for a week with Brexit played loudly at them repeatedly before deciding to call the silly referendum.
(of course that would have meant Nigel Farage being exiled to a desert island but that would have been a small democratic compromise in retrospect.)
2. Snuggling under a lovely patchwork quilt after a chilly course adjustment at 3am. Thanks Mum.
The temperature has been gradually dropping since we left Tonga. Soon be needing all our warm clothing.
3. Noises. The sounds of the sea, wind and boat have become gradually more friendly with passing days and add up to- peace.
I shouldn't tempt fate as a new sound can quickly spell problems.
