The wind is very fickle and we are expending copious amounts of energy on sail changes to try and sail to the Cape Verdes rather than motor!   The plus side is we are eating extremely well and enjoying ourselves!   Presently we are close hauled (and this is supposed to be a down wind passage!!!) with the wind from the SE.  No doubt it will swing round a number of times before tomorrow dawns – all we want is for the weather forecast for the next couple of days to be inaccurate – we don’t want ‘calm conditions’!
