We managed to leave Bouregreg mid afternoon yesterday when the Atlantic swell had subsided and the port was reopened.  It took a while to get immigration and port authority clearance but everyone was really helpful including Boris the drugs dog who was a really friendly labrador!  We are now making incredibly slow progress along the coast.  Our average speed is a measly 3.5 knots!  We have another 116nm to run which, at this rate, will mean another two nights at sea.   Ah well, that’s sailing.  If we’d wanted to travel fast we’d have bought a motor boat!
