After yesterday’s exuberant weather it was rather disappointing and tame today.  We covered almost 38nm but only half was under sail alone.  We tried Charlie Cruising Chute for a short period, then had to goosewing which worked for a while but was hard work so decided to fly Red Passion.   The weather forecast had predicted some good winds so it was a shame to find we were dripping along compared with yesterday – 4kts was positively pedestrian!   This part of Portugal looks very appealing and we are looking forward to spending a couple of days here.
