We left in the mist with very poor visibility and then found ourselves in torrential rain!  Not what the doctor ordered especially as James got wet and soggy and had to wear a waterproof jacket!   We are now in Terra d’Haut, Iles des Saintes – very beautiful islands and such a lovely little town even though it’s jam packed with tourist shops – they all look really pretty and not tacky so manage to add to the atmosphere rather than detract.  Looking forward to some snorkelling and we have already spotted a couple of turtles.
