Hi Everyone,

It was lovely to see our family, after a 3 week visit home which flew past so quick.
When we got back to Fiji, we were welcomed like old friends it was lovely,
The boat was all ok, just a bit dusty, but a quick wash down and was good as new. Our bag that didn’t arrive the same time as us, luckily arrived and we were able to set off on Saturday, before we left the he man arrived with our new rain canopy’s just in time, we got them all set up when we got here(Musket Cove) as there was a big black cloud, and it rained all night, we were please as with it up, we are now able to have the windows open and not get wet.
It was quite interesting as when we got back to Fiji the sugar cane had ripened and they were taking it to the mill, on a track that runs along the road, hundreds of little pallets type things with wheels on, pulled by a little engine, & you could smell the sweetness in the air, also huge piles of Pine Tree saw dust ready to be shipped to China to make paper, so everyone seemed a lot more industrious.
we managed to go to the island where I promised to take them some photo’s (of themselves &
books for the school, and a dress for the lady’s baby, they loved them, and where very
pleased to see us, and even remembered our names, the children we made
friends with came running up and gave us a hug, so it was worth the hassle
with customs about our heavy bag, they wanted us to pay £70 excess, and
pleaded with the girl and told them the stuff was for the village and not us
and let us go in the end and just put a heavy sticker on it, that was the bag that we had to wait for, but it was worth
it in the end, I took the baby a teddy and she threw it on the floor, then I realized she probably didn’t no what it was, so hope I didn’t upset her.
We are going to Vanautu on Tuesday, its about 500 miles so not too long.
Hope all is well, and everyone is enjoying the Olympics' Love Margaret & Alan on Ocean Lady xxx
