Windy passage 29th March- Alan's 65 today!

We had a long day yesterday, getting here, we are in Fatu Hiva, we had gusting 55knots of wind on the nose and rain to get here, we set off at 7am and got here at 7.05pm and did 43 miles we were soaked, every thing smells like wet dog,
So to day have been washing everything out. Luckily the rain has stayed off long enough to get it dry.
it is very pretty here, tall volcanic mounds covered in greenery.
We haven't been ashore yet as been busy clearing up, but are going after sending this message.
it is 5.15pm here and 3.45am GMT we are at 10.27S - 138.40W.
