Hope all is well, & hope no one has caught a cold, We are still having stormy weather with winds up to 50/55 Knots and high waves, last
night Dad/Alan got the full force of a wave that was like a wall of
Water dumped on him, luckily I managed to jump down the companion
way out of the way, just when we were relaxing and had taken the
boards out of the door way as well.
Today it is overcast but seems to be a bit more settled so hopefully
the storm is nearly over.
Lat - 18.20S - Long - 70.47E 426 miles to go at 8.20 am GMT 8th October.

I'm going to have to make loads of Cake to catch up when I get home.
We are going along nicely today, a bit bumpy, but the sun is out and very little cloud, we are doing 6/7 knots so still on track for Thursday
so far.
We have just had a message from Mauritius on the NavTex, telling us not to pick up any birds, or touch them as there is Avian Flue about,
luckily we haven't seen any for days, maybe that's why!
Lat - 18.49S - Long - 68.13E We have 277 miles to go and have done
1,670 so far at 10.45am GMT 9th October.
