After a good night’s sleep in the protected anchorage at Chubb Cay we upped anchor and sailed the 35 miles down to Harbour Club Marina in Nassau, a location that we knew well from our time there on our way northwards earlier in the year.

The north coast of Nassau has for the last few years been dominated by the vast resort/hotel complex at Atlantis.  However there is now a larger building that outpeaks Atlantis, a sign of the burgeoning economic power of China.  It’s called Baha Mar and is due to open in the next few months when it promises to give Atlantis a run for its money.
