Yunque National Park is an area of rain forest in the northeast of the island.  A well paved road has been constructed that climbs through the forest to the top of the mountains.  A number of very well signed trails lead off the road, through the forest to various points of interest. Some of these tracks have even been surfaced in concrete!  Although the forest itself it as splendid as other rain forests we have seen the constant presence of large numbers of people does detract somewhat from its ambiance.

This waterfall photgraphed below was clearly a popular place.
