We used the dinghy to go over to the Bitter End Yacht Club to take a look.  It’s quite an attractive place, although we did experience a pretty average pub lunch there. Here are some pictures taken from the resort:

At Biras Creek in the south eastern end of North Sound a short walk takes you to Berchers Bay on the southern shore of Virgin Gorda which is open to the ocean and has a quite different character:

 

 

                   

 

On our way back from Berchers Bay we saw this iguana sunning himself on a mangrove bush:

At 5:00pm on most days the Saba Rock resort puts on a little show where they feed the Tarpon.  These are wild fish that live in the surrounding waters but they know that come 5 o’clock it is happy hour and they make a beeline for the feeding point. Some of them are very large, around four or five feet long, and they can make the water boil as they all compete to be the first to get to the food thrown into the water.
