Stayed here another day
and night. Went to the town quays today to fill up with water. Andy was sent to
get Gas and more coffee at the Supermarket plus some mince for dinner to make
Chilli with (or something similar). He came back with Gas, cheese and two large
packets of crisps but no coffee or mince. Needless to say crisps and gas are
not useful ingredients for Chilli (at least they are not in Delia’s book)
so we ate out and had a very nice pizza.
Amazing sunset here which
goes down on the sea and just over the very distant Corfu.
Took the dinghy out into the middle of the bay to get the best view, kindly supported
by a glass of Prosecco. For the first time in a while we beat the Germans to
the front row. Luckily we were not mown down by a Greek water taxi as we could
here the Greek music coming (that they play). Very romantic but he made me row
back.
