Just saw a small whale. First I have seen on a Nina. He passed 20 metres from us heading in the opposite direction. We watched his water spouting every few minutes as he disappeared astern. Also had a dolphin show as we ate our cooked breakfast. Class.
Weirdest of all a squid made it on board! We did hit a squall of headwind in the night and can only think the side deck scooped him out of the water as we heeled over. Weather genteel. Sun shining. Too much motoring but a great trip so far.
