Full on 24 hours. New mainsail reefs proved impossible to fit and hold on our horns. To and fro around Scilly Isles working out a jury-rigged solution. Richard got soemthing rigged and we turnrd NW again towards \SW Ireland. Steep medium seas ere that seem bigger than he 25-30 knots of wind over the deck.... more to come?

Both watches were up a morning as we worked on resolving the problems, sailing doubled reefed on number 4 now and getting some rest. Long way to go... hare and the tortoise...

We'll see how the reefing solution looks when we get to Ireland. Thanks for the messages. Sorry not replying individually, diff to type at the mo!
