lived under ye shower evry day cos of they needed to the deckhands waited we joy for
today wen ye smelly bunch ad promised themseves a luverly shower and e
change of shreddies.
Gazooks !!! Disasters loomed as last night as ye yung luvers had used all ye water in ye tank and
forgot to tern e water pump off so now it's burnt ye water pump out and
there's na shower for ye smellies wich kinda stretches yer good will a mite.
As we near the end and 17 days and nearly 1700 miles the list of jobs grows
for the Owl and Gran Canaria cannot come soon enough. It's been an endurance
alright and we are all looking forward to a cold beer and a shower. Or maybe
better advised a shower then a cold beer and then probably a hotel with clean sheets and soap.
The wind has amost died and we are motoring for the last leg filling water
bottles from the water maker directly rather than using the water tank from
which we can no longer extract water.
Progress is frustratingly slow for the last hurdle but we are fairly confident that tomorrow will see us safely tied up and still at last.
