Night Owl

The Owl crept out of the pea soup fog last night and at 4.30am eased her way into Cascais where a pontoon dram promised some sleep. Other than arriving a high light of the night had been the arrival of a school of Dolphins which entertained us with their acrobatics in a ghostly soup made of sparkling diamonds. A different problem emerged when the water tank split it's cover but fortunately not it's bladder and a hasty protective patch was applied.
A fresh faced Keith joined us in the morning and sadly Dawn who had run out of time departed, her farewell bringing about another kind of fog on the Owl.

In the early afternoon having replenished the stocks of food and diesel the Owl left Cascais in her wake and headed off once again on great adventures now pointing towards the Canaries. The crew are settling down to a new routine and are hopeful that the dark dank fog is a thing of the past.

Enough for now from the weary Howlers as we prepare for what night brings x
