Back in the water finally, after a long, dull and expensive stay in the boatyard whilst we:

• -          Repainted the antifouling
  
• -          Replaced the saildrive shafts and anodes
  
• -          Replaced the through hull fittings, stop cocks and hoses for all three toilets
  
• -          Replaced the roller furler for the genoa
  
• -          Replaced all the standing rigging – shrouds, diamonds and forestay
  
• -          Regalvanised the chain and anchor
  
• -          Polished the hulls
  
• -          Replaced all three halyards and the topping lift
  
• -          Replaced flooring in catwalk
  
• -          Refitted anchor windlass chain stripper
  

It all took much longer than anticipated as ever, in part because the weather here is particularly cold and rainy this winter.....

Some very exciting news though – Claudia and Benj are having a baby! It is due in the middle of June so our plans will now be taking that into account! They are busy trying to buy a flat in London as Claudia now works for the Zoological Society of London (just opposite London Zoo). She is currently in the Philippines for a month, teaching on one of their courses. Benj is sorting out the purchase of a flat in Peckham that they found just before she left and then looking for a new job himself.
