Took a drive into Warrenton for lunch with Bobs eldest son Nathan. He has just set up in business with a colleague and this is the building his new office is in. The mural is one of several depicting scenes from the American Civil War. It shows Commander John Mosby and some of the men of the 43rd Battalion, 1st Virginia Cavalry - also known as Mosby’s Raiders. He was nicknamed ‘The Grey Ghost’ by Lincoln because of their reputation for fast raids and the ability to disappear into the local population afterwards.

We had a delicious lunch in a cellar restaurant too dark for photos and then returned to meet Gail on her return from said conference. She looks fabulous after deciding to get fit since we saw them about a year ago. More importantly they are enjoying Bobs retirement and the arrival of grandchildren numbers 4 and 5.
