We are now 162nm further south having motor-sailed most of the way in light winds. Did manage to sail the last 50 miles though in gentle seas and sunshine.  We are now anchored off Cumberland Island, at the very south end Georgia. This is the westernmost point of the US Atlantic coast and is a protected National Shoreline because of its biodiversity and 26 distinct ecosystems!  Included among the attractions, more feral horses and more beautiful Live Oak trees.

No time to go ashore this evening but we do have this beautiful view.
