Not too far to go now! 570miles to go. We think we will get there on Friday all being well. Nice to be finally be thinking about actually getting there. The wind has been 10 - 20knts over the last 24hrs and we are wing on wind heading dead downwind making reasonable progress. We had a moment today when the main got stuck in the furler and it looked very likley that I was going to be sent up the mast to get it, but luckily with some persistant jiggling and the bouncing around from being head to wind and into the waves it managed to come free.

Cooking is getting more inventive trying to use things up. Toady I made loaf of bread filled with parma ham, cream cheese, olives, pesto and sundried tomatoes. Nice to have something a bit different - thank you Jamie Oliver/Kirsten for amazing multi purpose bread recipie.

Not much other news. Nick is still persisting that he wants his vegtables in cake form rather than in meal form. He is now complaining of 'a great cake shortage' - we finished our brownies not yesterday but the day before. He is slowly being persuaded to acept the chocolate cake that is on offer.
