Hello from day 3!

We have wind and are moving along nicely! We even have a reef in! After a bit of a on off night it decided to fill in properly early this morning which has been great. Really feels like we are making progress in the right direction today!

Not much to report on board today. We had a boat about 4nm away from us last night - going slower than us! We overtook someone - thats a first! They may be going somewhere else of course or have slowed for the night - but it happened! Nick is well and truly stuck in to the book 'I am Pilgrim' which was well recommended. I am doing french lessons by myself now as Nick is working on his morse code which he deems more useful than French at this point - he decided he might communicate as such when we get there...

We have very much been enjoying banana cake with a side of bananas. We had a bet on which banana would be the last one to fall and I lost so looks like I have to try and fit 3 bananas in my mouth all at once and sing bananas in Pjamamas - stay tuned...

PS message from Nick. 'Tell everyone I make the best banana cake in the world and if anyone wants the secret recipe they have to pry it from my cold dead hands' - see what I have to live with hahaha
