Good morning from a very calm and glassy blue Pacific ocean.

Still no wind to report. We are following Mum and Dads track line from their crossing 7 years ago (?) - getting a fair way south before heading across. This will hopefully mean that we pick up some trade winds soon. We are due to past our first way point this morning - near a rock island owned by Colombia.

Not much to report from the last 24hrs. The Mahi made for delicious sushi - we stopped for another lunch time swim/wash. Other than that we have just been plodding on. We got 5-6knts of wind in the evening yesterday and decided to try and pole out the headsail to see if we could sail for a while. We ended up with some trouble on the pole track so Nick winched me half way up the mast to get it sorted out. Not much to see from up there - just vast expanses of blue. We got it all fixed up and enjoyed a quiet 2 hours while we had dinner and watched game of thrones.

We are enjoying our podcasts, my pile of sewing is keeping me occupied and Nick has been polishing the stainless.

Not much wildlife - just a few sea birds with us through the night. They are a bit eerie at night - swooping white ghosts around the boat.
