Hi everyone,

Feels good to be on the way! Wish it could be with slightly better conditions - but looks like we are through the worst of it now (fingers crosed). We had a pretty wild night of big squalls from all directions. Lots of rain and wind strength all over the place. No one got much sleep I'm afraid. So we are currently on an upwind tack - following our course from Bob. Its strange to be heading slightly away from where we need to be going, but it will hopefully mean we miss any more bad weather. The wind should start to swing around soon and then we can start pointing at where we really want to go.

All is generally pretty good on board - everyone is a bit tired but we have all been qetting some quality naps in. The sun has even just come out so we can dry out a bit too. The boys are doing a great job on cooking and doing dishes as I am still feeling a bit rubbish. I'm sure as we get on a better angle I'll start feeling better.

No fish for us so far, the wild fishing enthusiasm of us getting out of the pass and away from Minerva has subsided and I only hear the boys talking of fishing about 20hours of the day (rather than 24).
